Magnetically Latching Coil Controllers
Albright are now able to offer a wide selection of magnetically latching contactors. As with all our contactors, these ranges can be tailored to suit each Customer's requirement.
The magnetically latching contactors can be driven directly from a reversible power supply. Alternatively the Albright ML52 or ML53 coil controller can be utilised.
The supply to the contactor is automatically alternated with each new application of a supply voltage. Furthermore, the duration of the pulse is limited to maximum 1/2 second and thus it is impossible to overheat the coil even if the supply voltage is maintained indefinitely.
Two inputs into the controller are used. One giving an "on" pulse and the other will always give an "off" pulse.
